Character creation does not ask for gender; characters use they/them. Your character saves automatically in the first room. Use save as you play.
Room names use cyan and exits use gold; people have consistent name colors. Spells use violet, combat uses red, healing uses green and belongings use gold. Speech, hints, movement and commands remain together in the terminal, in the order the world sends them. HP, Mana and Move update beside the command prompt; on narrow screens they sit directly above it. Turn on Original prompts in Settings to keep stats in scrollback instead. Letter effects briefly animate new text in place; the text remains in scrollback. Help, Settings and Commands open as separate screens; Escape returns to the terminal. Choose Plain in Settings for one text color.
Tap the command line to open your keyboard. Type one command, then send it with ↵. The password prompt hides your typing. Use [ commands ] for movement, belongings and conversation. Commands ending in … fill the prompt for you to finish. Shortcuts pause while you have a draft. Up and Down recall commands from this connection; passwords are excluded. History disappears on disconnect or reload. Transcripts are never stored by this page.
